The Frost Collection
Marion and Sandra Frost began collecting Pairpoint Glass in 1990, when a green candlestick with a bubble ball and prisms reached out to them from a showcase exhibit. The hook was set!.
With help from noted author Leonard Padgett, and his mentor, Orva Heisenbuttel, the Frosts quickly learned the fundamentals of collecting glass, but recognized a tremendous lack of Pairpoint knowledge among collectors and dealers alike. This started the Frosts on a two-decade search for Pairpoint documentation. Along the way the Frosts authored two highly-acclaimed reference books, The Essence of Pairpoint (Schiffer Publishing, 2001) and The Comprehensive Guide to Pairpoint Shapes and Patterns (Schiffer Publishing, 2006).
More than being avid collectors of Pairpoint products, Sandy and Marion believe in the sharing of knowledge and the perpetuation of the legacy left to us by the gifted artisans and craftsmen of so long ago. They continue to search for new information and make themselves available to anyone with a love for Pairpoint.
